3 types of high school teachers

When I was in high school I few different types of Teachers. The cool teachers, the uptight teachers and the chill teachers. The cool teachers were always weird or crazy they usually had better relationships with their students they made learning fun they would talk about their personal lives more They were usually the funny ones. Uptight teachers would get on to you about everything. You could get in trouble more easily and they would never let anything slide. They ran class a very specific way but they weren't always that bad just uptight and to the point and specific about certain things. The chill teachers were pretty basic They weren't bad teaches but they weren't crazy or weird. They weren't uptight either about everything. They were pretty nice and class wasn't always boring it was just okay. You could talk to them though because they were still cool.  They always held class calmly.

3 types of friends

I have a good bit of different kinds of friends. Some I feel wouldn't get along with my other friends. One kind I have are my work friends, they aren't really my friends we just work together but i enjoy working with them. Some I enjoy talking to but I don't talk to them like I do other people because they are different. They do make work more enjoyable. I have my favorite friends which are mostly like 4 people. Those are the friends i'm closing to and talk to more personally even though I don't see them a whole lot. I still hang out with them and we always have fun. these are usually the best friends I can be more myself around. I have school friends that I recently made because i guess they thought I was cool. They are kinda dorky but that's what makes them cool I see them more that my closer friends. They are more chill than my work friends.

writing my essay compared to the first essay

Writing this essay was a bit easier after the brainstorming and picking a topic. Getting started always seems to be the struggle for me. Once I outlined my Thesis and found examples I was able to write. I learned from my last essay and was able to write a better paper fixing all my errors. I learned how to do proper citations and understand how to write them. Some parts of writing was easier and some where not. I still had to fix a lot of contractions usually a lot of "don'ts". I was able to fix my font on my numbered pages. The essay may have been longer but i wrote more than I needed to for my last essay so this wasn't too hard. I have been able to find plenty of examples. I at least hope they were examples or i'll have to write my whole paper over again.

writing my essay

I feel as though getting started on this essay was harder than the last. I had a hard time figuring out what to write about, what should the topic be. I didn't really understand what we were writing either. The method didn't make much sense to me. The thesis was very hard to come up with or maybe more so harder to explain. I couldn't figure out how to put it into words. Once I finally got my topic it was a bit easier and so on as i gathered more and more information for my essay. Finding examples does't feel hard because i relate very strongly to my topic it is more factual than opinionated. Although its factual opinions because different methods work for different people. I think it's gonna be more work because we have to cite things and we have to have ore paragraphs but that's not so hard considering I had more than I needed for my last essay.

work cited for essays

My essay is about time management for college students who work as well and how to manage that time to make sure you are getting your work done for school. Any information I look up I need to make sure i cite on my work cited page. I also need to cite any text in my essay by citing my cited work as well. Any books or websites i gain information from I need to cite on my work cited. If I copy any text I need to put a citation next to it after the period. I also need to put my citation in parenthesis.

work cited

When it comes to citing my work I guess I still don't do a good job. I thought I understood but I guess not. It feels hard but I guess that's only because I'm not good at it. I need to work on how I actually cite it and understanding the difference between the web page and website and publishers because I still don't know. That whole sentence right there just confused me. I don't know a whole lot about correct formatting either. I think once I finally understand it hopefully it won't be as hard anymore. It's just something that takes time and practice.

college life and more

It can be hard for a college student to balance school and their life outside of that. Students make face stressful challenges. One struggle can be balancing time for school and time for work. Students like me who go to class during the day and work at night might find it hard to get work done right away. You either don't have the time or loose sleep. It can be hard turning in your assignment y midnight when you go to work right after class and don't get off till 11:00 at night. It can be hard to balance a social life too. When you have to work and go to school you don't have as much time for a social life or maybe even the money to go out and do things. You may feel like your missing out on things so it's hard. Keeping up with all your school work can get pretty hard too when you have 2 days to turn in fifty answered questions but most of that time you have other priorities to attend to.

social media

Social Media has gown to be this huge thing that's apart of our everyday lives. There's a lot that's good to it but also bad. We get less in person interaction with social media because it makes it so much easy to talk on a phone or post a picture without leaving home or meeting up. It affects our social skills in the real work and makes them weaker. It makes us so much more glued to our phones and computers as well. It takes away from the very real and human interactions we should be having. It also brings us more aware of our surroundings. we see the dangers of the world more and that makes it hard to trust people especially with so many online stalkers and people who catfish.

what a best friend should be

A best friend should be someone who is there for you like when no one else showed up to your birthday party but they did because they care or when you have a performance coming up and they make it their mission to be there and support you. A best friend should build you up. When all those negative thoughts come spiraling in they will be there to give you the confidence you deserve. A true best friend opens your eyes to when you may be wrong about something or they will be the shoulder for you to cry on when a boy breaks your heart and reminds you that your worth more. They will listen to you cry over the same guy again and again because they get it. A best friend is someone you can make any lame event fun with because y'all will laugh about everything. Sometimes you may not talk in a while or maybe you talk everyday either way your still the best of friends. A best friend doesn't try to change you either.

kindness from strangers

I can recall a few times stranger have done very nice things but  I remember one specifically. It was my little sisters birthday she got about $10 to spend on something so I took her to the Walmart so she could pick a toy out. She realized she wanted this princess luggage set, it was $40. I told her it was out of her price range and she couldn't get it because she could not afford it and that that's just how money works. This made her very sad because she wanted the toy so bad. I let her call her mom because she wanted more money to buy the toy but her mom told her no. A man standing in the ile with his kid later came up to me and gave me $40 so she could buy the toy. It was a very kind thing to do. He was there the whole time listing. Rose got the toy she wanted thanks to the kindness f this stranger.

peer revision

Thanks to the peer revision I was able to see things from a different point of view as to how my topic looked and how on topic I was. I think looking at all the different possibilities for good writing to my paper would make it better. Such as which parts are really the attention getters? Which paragraphs need more improvement. It helps to know if I'm over thinking the process as well. It's important to me to know the point I'm trying to get across is clear and I have good grammar. The revision is still very helpful and is better than no revision at all. I personally like the revision process and how it can help open your eyes up to things you missed before.
